L’Arte del Gelato presents: “La Torta Gelato” simply delightful

La Torta Gelato is one of those sweet memories of my childhood, I honestly never asked my self if I could  find the ice-cream cake (La Torta Gelato) in America, but after seeing those delicious “Torte” I can’t wait to have one and share a sweet memory of mine with my friends in America.

As you may know I like to learn more about the people behind successful venues, so here something about Francesco Realmuto, Francesco was born in Baucina a small town near Palermo, he moved in New York many  years ago and he started to work as diamond cutter, but I guess the diamonds are very sparkling, but they did not spark Francesco’s heart as much as his memories from his warm beautiful island of Sicily did.

So few years ago Francesco created a tasty company that makes delicious gelato called L’Arte del Gelato, Francesco himself is as sweet as his gelato, (I imagine that if you deal with sweets all day long you become a sweeter person), anyway Francesco’s passion for his business is contagious and your see his love and his dedication in every single products he is creating.

I personally love everything about L’Arte del Gelato, starting from the logo and the pink box, what can I say I am a pink girl and I like CUTE.

Summer is here, so look for the pink cart around the city, you can find the original cart at Chelsea Market all year around and enjoy your favorite gelato. And  for a special occasion order a TORTA GELATO.
